Today marks the official launch of Meridian Racing, an ambitious new project built around a 16-rider roster with a clear focus on development and competition on the UCI Europe Tour. From the outset, the objective is long-term sustainability and athlete progression within a professional racing environment.
“As a first-year team, we are building something sustainable,” said the Team Principal. “This isn’t just about winning races; it’s about developing the next generation of athletes in a professional setting.”
Like many new programs, securing early-season race invitations presents an initial challenge—particularly in southern Spain, where competition for start lines is high and established professional teams dominate the calendar. Despite this, the team remains optimistic and expects to confirm its competitive debut in the coming weeks.
Meridian Racing will unveil its new kit during the winter training camp in Oviedo, marking the first visible step in what is intended to be a long-term development project based in Europe.
